HARRY PERKINS | MACA CANCER 200 RIDE – 2023

About the project

The MACA Cancer 200 Ride for Research is a two-day cycling event that covers 200km. This event raises crucial funds for cancer research in WA. Now in its 12th year, the MACA Cancer 200 Ride continues to support the Harry Perkins Institute’s cutting-edge research.

Since its start in 2011, this event has brought top scientists to Perth, funded unique cancer studies, and supplied advanced equipment to speed up research.

We are proud to have been the production company chosen to cover this incredible event for the past FIVE years. Our team captured the true spirit of the ride, spanning hundreds of kilometres, to create a touching and inspiring piece that resonates with viewers.

BEHIND THE SCENES

Achieved Goals

Our team of 12 camera operators worked together and independently to capture different aspects of the two-day event using drones, still cameras and ground video. The end result was a finished product that showcased the event in a dynamic and professional production.

We delivered 1 long form video from the event which encapsulated two days, a family montage video, over 4000 photos, and
video cuts to be used as part of packages for main sponsors.
