What a great surprise by The West Australian

110k views, 1.5k likes, 1.2k shares and 250 comments

Fremantle, Western Australia by Sky Perth

Last week I've launched a video which was a blast (at least for me) of views, comments and shares throughout social media channels, in particular on the Facebook, after one of the most important online news website The West Australian in Perth, shared it on its page.

Putting all numbers combined, there were over 110k views, 1.5k likes, 1.2k shares and around 250 comments.

And the surprises didn't stop there! On the next day, I was reached by Elle Farcic from The West Australian for an interview. I would say, this weekend couldn't be better for Sky Perth!

Everything started back in October, when I bought my first drone and decided to take it serious. January, I got my certificate issued by CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) to fly legally on Perth's sky. Addicted, I cannot stop flying and from all places I've been so far, Fremantle area is one of my favourite.

Honestly, the idea wasn't create this video. I was supposed to use some pieces of this footage in other project and run in a contest which finished last March.

From this whole experience, what was more remarkable for me, was people reactions through comments on how the video brought good memories to them. Really happy for that!

If you haven't see the video before, please check it below! The links for the posts and full story you can see below in "Related Articles".

I would love to hear your thoughts, so please leave a comment :)
